Klinikum Kulmbach

For the extension of the hospital Kulmbach we took over the lighting design for the first construction phase. Here, a state-of-the-art nursing station, the new central laboratory and a treatment center for patients were built. The corridors were given linear, wall-mounted lighting that creates a clear structure and ensures optimum illumination and good orientation. The light channel was developed in cooperation with the manufacturer of the system ceilings. The profile luminaire was designed in such a way that it also serves as a substructure for the revisable metal ceiling. The lighting concept in the patient rooms supports the high-quality architecture. The choice of materials, the homely concept and the good quality of light with high color rendering as well as individually adjustable light scenes thus make an important contribution to human recovery.
